On the early morning of October 16, 1999
guitarist/songwriter Bruce Cameron passed away. It is a tragic loss to
fans of his work and the music world at large. Cameron had just released
his first solo CD Midnight Daydream, which featured Rock-n-Roll legends
from the 60's and 70's - members of the Band of Gypsys, Mitch Mitchell,
Jack Bruce, ex-Alice Cooper members, and Ken Hensley among others.
Cameron, a multi-instrumentalist, produced and arranged his CD which has
garnished rave reviews worldwide.
Bruce Cameron gave the ultimate gift to his music
and fans - his life. Cameron, who is probably now jamming with his musical
heroes - Jimi Hendrix, Frank Zappa, Glen Buxton, and Jim Morrison - can be
best remembered by the words of the legendary Buddy Miles, "He's a
gypsy, he's one of us
