January 1999 The BEAT Page 1 Rock Legends on the Road to WilmingtonFormer members of Cream and Uriah Heep Do Tracks with Bruce Cameron
The inner workings of the forthcoming Bruce Cameron MIDNIGHT DAYDREAM CD continue to bring together some of rock history's most interesting and innovative members in a studio project that by sheer star power alone is becoming a truly unique moment in time. Jack Bruce, of the willowy falsetto and kick-like-a-mule bass lines that perfectly balanced the aggressive guitar playing of Eric Clapton and destructive drumming of Ginger Baker in the legendary Cream line-up, contributed vocals to one cut, and power bass to two others. That's Bruce, Jack and ANT-BEE in the photo to the left. In the photo to the right is Ken Hensley of Uriah Heep fame running the keys on the Hammond B3 just before putting down organ tracks for two songs that feature ANT-BEE on lead vocals.
