Band of Gypsys Press Conference

The Line-up For His New Album Reads Like A History Of Rock.

BUDDY, BRUCE, and ANT-BEE... THE BAND OF GYPSYS!

On September 15th the music writers of Wilmington gathered in Hilton for a press conference to cover the rock news that Jimi Hendrix's original Band of Gypsys, Buddy Miles on the drums and Billy Cox on bass, were reuniting to record with Wilmington guitarist / songwriter Bruce Cameron (above left with project coordinator ANT-BEE).
The music will be part of Cameron's forthcoming album, Midnight Daydream.
This marks the first time Miles and Cox have recorded new material with an artist since Hendrix died.
At the conference table were (left to right) Harvey Dalton Arnold of the Outlaws, Cox, Miles,
Cameron and ANT-BEE.
Arnold will also be doing tracks on the album as well as Michael Bruce and Neal Smith of Alice Cooper Group and others.
Scheduled album release date is Winter 1999.
