The legendary guitar virtuoso Jan Akkerman has recently contributed an acoustic guitar piece to the new Ant-Bee album Electronic Church Muzik. It is an intense, spiritually masterful, and ripping guitar piece called Mannah that could only be executed by Jan Akkerman. Also, check out Jan's new website he created himself: http://www.janakkerman.nl.

Recently, the Ant-Bee has been corresponding with Hans Joachim Irmler of the legendary krautrock band Faust. Could a possible collaboration be in the works? Check out the official Faust website - http://andyw.zinc.co.uk/faust - as well as their innovative new CD Ravvivando. It is the best album they've done since Faust IV. Speaking of Krautrock, also now appearing on the new Ant-Bee CD is Nekropolis's "pfrohmader"Peter Frohmader contributing some keyboard weirdness. Also making a guest appearance is Russian composer/keyboard maniac Artemiy Artemiev (son of renown composer Edward Artemiev - Odyssey) who contributes some bizarre church organ muzik. Both artists will be thrown into the Psalms section somewhere. (It's starting to get confusing isn't it?)

Rumor has it that the Ant-Bee has talked with Mark Volman of the legendary Flo & Eddie (Turtles/Mothers) about them making a guest appearance on the new (4th) Ant-Bee CD. If a deal is actually struck, the track would most likely be a cover version of the Monkee's Porpoise Song (from the movie Head) and feature Flo & Eddie on lead vocals, Bunk Gardner on sax, Don Preston on keyboards and bass, and the Ant-Bee on drums, background vocals and tape manipulations. We'll keep you informed if this bizarre collaboration does take place. Check out The Turtles website for the latest info on Flo & Eddie.

Billy James (the Ant-Bee) has recently received credits for his help with the latest Alice Cooper CD box set, The Life & Crimes of Alice Cooper, as well as both VH1 Behind the Music specials on Grand Funk Railroad and Alice Cooper.

Ant-Bee has been busy working on the fourth album Electronic Church Muzik. Confirmed guest artists include Peter Banks, Jan Akkerman, Don Preston, Bunk Gardner, Jimmy Carl Black, Zoot Horn Rollo, Daevid Allen, Gilli Smyth, Michael Bruce, Neal Smith, & Bob Harris. The Ant-Bee will be appearing on the new Mother Gong CD with a piece he has recorded with Gilli Smyth entitled Birth. He will also be featured on the new Peter Bank's CD - Production.

Ant-Bee is currently recording drum and percussion tracks for a new CD project by ex-Mothers Don Preston and Bunk Gardner entitled The Don & Bunk Show.
