    We've been acquired by one of the biggest, fastest growing portals on the internet, "Ova Yonda Travel Centre & Hotel Reservation Network". You probably noticed the new look, if not you must be blind - so get whoever is reading this to you to describe it for you. This is but the first step of many planned and in process changes taking place behind the scenes that will vastly improve your experience here and get your music in front of a much, much larger audience, currently OYC has an average of approximately 85,000 to 95,000 page views a day and growing every day.

    During the "Transitional" period some of the pages and or links may be unavailable. Bear in mind that this may be frustrating, but a necessary part of the incorporation of Handy Musician into "Ova Yonda". Some section may be moved, re-arranged or otherwise re-structured. Some sections may even be removed altogether. Rest assured that any removed sections are not being simply removed they are being replaced with equal or better alternate services.

    Today the music industry is in as much of a state of "Flux" as anytime in history. The proliferation of computers in our everyday lives has installed them into the fabric of society. In doing so they have drastically reduced the barriers that once prevented musicians from having much, if any, control over his/her music. The "elusive digital recording" studio has been reduced from a playground for the select few to an "off the shelf" item even part time hobbyists can afford to experiment with. The once "Mighty Distribution Networks" that gave the major recording companies their actual "Control" over musicians, has been supplanted by the internet, especially now with the wide-spread adoption of broadband.

    Today, with a few hundred dollars, anyone can write, record, re-mix, master and create their own CD, even 'burning" however many copies they want or need without any loss of clarity. In the digital domain, the ten thousandth copy is as clear as the original, barring or course unforeseen, we are speaking in general terms here. I do not want to hear about "Joe Bob" whose second copy was un-usable, we all know of the odd dipstick that could screw up anything from a recording to putting his/her own socks on!!
